Pinnacle skills training center inaugurated

The Advisor for Rural Development Dr. Nicky Kire inaugurated training centre of Pinnacle Skills located near new DC office in Chümoukedima on November 15.

he training centre has been set up under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) youth employment scheme of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The scheme is implemented through the Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM).

Speaking during the inaugural function Dr. Nicky stated that there is no substitute for hard work. He encouraged the students to make most of the training and job placements and build a career for themselves. The Advisor also distributed training kits to the students. Dr. Nicky mentioned that he would be making surprise inspections to check how trainings were being carried out.
Also present at the function was Additional Secretary cum Mission Director of NSRLM Athel O. Lotha and Chairman of Pinnacle Skills Dr. John Murry. The function was chaired by Chief Executive of Pinnacle Skills Dr. Yan Murry and prayer was offered by Pastor of Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur Yanbemo Ovung.

Dr. Yan Murry, Chief Executive of Pinnacle informed that the institution will be offering free of cost residential courses at the training centre in sectors like Beauty & wellness, hospitality and information technology.
